Tent & Outdoor Grounds
The outdoor grounds boast service for up to 150 wedding guests with a 40 foot x 100 foot custom tent complete with chapel sidewalls and lighting on the main lawn May through November. The tent cannot be removed and a fee to use the tent is included in your contract pricing with The Milestone on the River. The tent’s walls can be tied back to accentuate the outstanding river view or can be closed to keep out inclement weather.
A cast iron gazebo, century old Sycamore trees, and bubbling cherub fountain provide the perfect back drop for any event. A copper pavilion and private courtyard offer relief from the day’s events and can be accented with tables and chairs. Whether you accent these areas with a projector showcasing your memories or transform it into a movie area for children, these intimate outdoor areas can be customized for each occasion.
The grounds are encased with reclaimed wrought iron fencing and have been landscaped with each season in mind. As you enjoy the river view, you’ll be serenaded by subtle scents from the gardens and the vibrant colors of blooming plants and flowers.
